The Cambridge Network is a big name in the Cambridge Cluster, bringing together businesses ranging from small startups right the way up to the biggest corporates around. They charge membership fees, but some events are open to the public (although there may be a charge for some events).

Cambridge Wireless is a huge network at the forefront of the connectivity & digital tech industries. Startups are welcome, but members range up to large corporates. They charge membership fees, but many events have paid ticket options for the individual event. Cambridge Wireless are the organisers of the annual Cambridge Tech Week.

CAMentrepreneurs is a founder networking group. Originally, it was for University of Cambridge alumni, but it has expanded to welcome all founders. A friendly and inclusive group.

Cambridge Female Founders Network is a new and fast-growing network, providing a range of events focused on female founders. They host a range of events, some of which are open to all, and some of which are much more exclusive.

Cambridge AI meets every 1-2 months to discuss a particular AI topic. Meetups include networking as well as talks & discussion. This is not a startup-specific group, but is well-attended by founders as well as larger businesses.

One Nucleus is arguably the premier network for the Biomedical and Life Sciences sectors in the area. They are not startup-focused, although they provide paid membership options from sole-traders up to large corporations. Membership is not cheap - but could be particularly useful if you’re in the scaleup phase in these sectors.

Venture Cafe Cambridge Connect has monthly evening gatherings at the Glasshouse, focused on a particular topic. The evenings include pizza & networking, as well as talks and showcases on the evening’s theme. Register for free for each event, so you can pick and choose the topics that interest you most.

CUTEC (Cambridge University Technology & Enterprise Club) is for Cambridge students only - supporting budding entrepreneurs within the university.

The Founders Growth Community is a collaborative network for early-stage life sciences and biomedical startups.

Cambridge Pitch & Mix is a small informal group for founders and early-stage startups that meets weekly (Thursday mornings) at The Mill Cafe.

Cambridge Entrepreneurs Group is an informal group for early-stage founders, meeting monthly at a city centre pub. It’s described as friendly and relaxed, and there’s no formal structure to the meet-ups.
